Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

NYCPic2

This was taken a few years ago when we went to hang out in NYC. There was a scaffold above me when I took the picture which made a unique and unconventional border; we all know I am untraditional and unconventional when it comes to pictures. If you’ve never been to NYC, scaffolds are as common as hotdog stands. A scaffold is a platform that is suspended from above that construction workers use as they do their job working on a building. You are constantly walking under a scaffold at some point while walking in the heart of NYC. A simple, but realistic look at street life in one of the busiest cities in the world-people walking around either as a tourist or going to or from work. Or in my case.

Shopping.

NYC is such a great city. Now that spring is in the air the whole town seems to be reborn and everyone’s moods get friendlier. You can always tell the tourists apart they are the ones with there heads looking up lol 🙂

    1. I’ve always loved NYC. NYC holds a very special place in my heart. It’s amazing how Spring can change a mood. Haha, yes. I’ve noticed that too. The tourists are always looking up! I’m always looking into the windows to see what good sales they are having or reading a menu off a chalkboard outside a restaurant. I need to visit NYC once again. There are two places I want to try out. Make that three. One is a roof bar. 😉

    1. I *always* have fun shopping. No, we didn’t eat from any of the carts. We ate at some diner and it was very nice. I had written about a cool place in NYC in a blog a year or so ago where they serve up meals ninja style! I’d like to try it sometime soon the next time I’m up there.
