Enchanted by Fuji Matsuri

From mid April to mid May every year in Japan, there is a beautiful flower festival called Fuji Matsuri or the Wisteria Festival. Walking through this beautiful flower garden would inspire poets, writers, musicians, artists and photographers. These pictures are so enchanting and magical-can you picture a wedding here? I can. The beauty this earth presents to us continues to capture my imagination. Hope everyone has a nice Earth Day tomorrow!

These pictures are amazing! I thought they were paintings at first glance. It’s like a fairy tale. I want to go see it some day… and smell it. It must smell miraculous!

    1. At first glance, I also thought they appeared to be a long lost Monet painting with the droopy flowers hanging everywhere! Isn’t it lovely? It is indeed like a fairytale. I can only imagine the perfumed air as well. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. At least now I now what Wisteria really is, besides the place where desperate housewives live 🙂
The views are amazing, however I don’t like a wedding in it. It is just too much, too luscious, to my taste.

  3. Amazing pictures! I love wisteria and I have some here in the front part of the house. When they bloom in late spring, I love their smell especially in the afternoon to early evening. Simply magical! It must be nice to walk through that wisteria tunnel. 😉

    1. Hey Malou! How have you been? 🙂 You have Wisteria by your house, I am officially jealous now! Please describe what they smell like. Yes, I agree. It would be very nice and pleasant to just walk around and appreciate their colors. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. I totally agree with you on this one! I didn’t even think of Avatar (phhh, shame on me because I’m a huge fan of that movie). I’ve never watched “Desperate Housewives” either, but was familiar with the Wisteria name. Thanks for the headsup and for stopping by Jim!

    1. When or if you do, PROMISE to send me photos ok? I’d love to see them! Or…you can always grow Wisteria flowers in your garden or buy a house with a huge yard! 😉

    1. I know you’d make the most fabulous wedding with all your experience and talent Brian! I’m a big fan of all your work. I mean, if you decorated the venue for when Prince William and Kate visited California, you truly are a master at what you do. Still jealous you met them! 😉 Give me a heads up when they come back again-lol. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

    1. It does. Like a living monet painting you can walk through. There is a sculpture garden here in NJ where they have a 3D sculpture garden of one of Monet’s painting. Be on the lookout for that sometime soon. 🙂

What's on your mind? I'd love to know!
